ReplyDeleteAt work one day I was bored, and trawled through the corporate directory and had a look at the names in the Hongky brand. Some interesting names, out of just a few dozen people.
Libra Chan, Darky Fung, Salex Ho, Yammie Ng, Elvin Poon and Coral Yip.

ReplyDeleteI still suspect that Hongkies as a group have more novel or weird names compared with other Chinese communities such as Singaporeans, Taiwanese and 'pesky' mainlanders. I have often pondered what the reason(s) is/are?
I am only on a short term contract, so I don't think I should really do much more poking around. I don't think the directory gives any more details.
ReplyDeleteNo worries AW. Your comments on this site are much appreciated.
