I guess this is a female name?

A great name for a weedy, nerdy guy though.

  2. Perhaps derived from Tweety Pie, since Hongkies love cute cartoon characters?

Also, have a look at Ms Weely Ng (0704 HKSAR Name of the Day). Just imagine what they would say on meeting one another ...
    Weety: Hello, I'm Weety.
    Weely: Weally? My name's Weely.
    Weety: Weely! Weally?
Weely: Yes Weally Weety. My name is Weely.
Weety: That's a relief. It's a good job it's not Weety, because that's my name and isn't it novel, special and unique!
Weely: Yes it is, just like Weely!

The universe would collapse into itself if such were to occur!

  4. I knew this lady many years ago - my wife worked with her. She derived the name from 'sweetie', so the cutesy factor is dead on. Nice woman, if a touch odd. She dropped off the map several years ago, although I heard she may have moved to Vancouver.

  5. Thanks Anon. Indeed, Weety Luk Suet-Ching BSc MPhil PhD RNT RN SRN has dropped off the face of the Earth.

Perhaps nursing (or Hong Kong?) does that to people?
