Naming yourself after a luxury brand name would be of great concern to me at least. Though perhaps she was imitating a celeb?

Yes perhaps imitating a celeb ... you mean Coco the Clown, right? :-) Regarding brand-based names; Hongkongers show themselves to prefer luxury brands rather than 'common' brands (e.g. Monster Munch ). It adds an air of 'class' as opposed to an air of 'humour' (at least, that's the intention).
